Another Japanese accent of the WRO Biennale 2019. This time – programs of the latest experimental animated films of students and graduates of Kyoto University of Arts, prepared by the well-known artist, professor Yoshimasa Ishibashi.

The sets include works that innovatively approach the issue of abstraction, made in various techniques – classic animation, synthesis of live film image and computer graphics. They address the topic of human memory, its unique sensitivity and the possibility of lasting individual memories in a wider social context.
