WRO on Tour #9

Tamka Gallery Night
Dec 20, 2019 / Sat / 9 PM – 4 AM

Crystal Quality Bit

A journey to a world, where the aurora is being held in a fridge and an imitated sunset is giving you simulated emotional states. In this digital reality, a beat is what forms the consciousness.

We’re watching the rise and annihilation of a generation indulged in transtechnological relations – on city streets, in concrete jungles, sterile laboratories, among landscapes – both human and posthuman.

The characters are bending over backward while searching for the identity of a special snowflake, and after a while, they just slide down a production tape accompanied by of one of a million of copies of themselves.

OK, boomer.

In this chosen set the images – those real, oneiric or balancing on the edge of absurdity – intermingle with one another, and at the same time, they are presenting a meaningful position and questioning the unstable present, and the potential shape of the future, if it will come at all.
